Ecotech Awarded Contract to Design & Build New Service Station Project in Mombasa, Kenya

Mombasa, Kenya (07th October 2011) – Ecotech, the engineering design and project management consultancy has been awarded a design and build project in Mombasa by Ranway Petroleum Limited. Ecotech will undertake architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering design as well as complete construction and project management services.

The new development will comprises of a state of the art service station forecourt, motor vehicles service and repair centre, retail shops, food court and offices.  A mini-deport  with  multiple underground fuel storage tanks and associated fuel pumping equipment for bulk sale of petroleum products has been incorporated in the development. The new filling station will provide ample parking space for both HGV’s and small vehicles.

The project is currently in schematic design development stage and a planning approval application has been submitted to the relevant authorities.  The project will be delivered in nine months once the all the necessary approvals have been granted.
